Under 7's win the Gosport Tournament

Pickwick Under 7 red winners of the gosport tournament 2008

On the 7th September kitted out with their new strip ,supplied by sponsors E&R Alloys our 3 under 7's sides gained valuable pre season training . If it wasn't blowing a gale then it was hammering it down with rain (many many thanks go to the parents/gaurdians for their support).Our boys battled and fought hard in what was very difficult conditions.
This was the last competitive matches for under 7's before they start the under 8's league next week.
Well done to our Reds who won the tournament and to our Blues and Greens who played out of their skin doing the Club and parents proud.

Under 14's win Fleur-de-Lys tournament
Well done to our under 14's who won the Fleur-de-Lys tournament today. Fantastic effort from Simon and the lads , keep it up !!!!!!

Under 7's have fun at H&W Tournament

Well done to the Blues with an excellent effort today at Havant and Waterlooville. They battled,passed some excellent efforts, culminating with a great individual goal by our captain. Well done guys!!!!!!

Pickwick Tournament Sun - day Funday

Pickwick Tournament Saturday a resounding success
On the 21st and 22nd June we staged our annual Tournament with teams from around the local area. Many thanks to all that helped from marking the pitches to picking up the rubbish at the end of the day. Well done to all the Pickwick teams, with some excellent results it looks like a good year for the club next season. Any good photos email them here

Under 7 Reds reach Quarter finals As Under 8's!!!
On the 31st May both our under 7's teams played at the Meon Milton Tournament. Unfortunateley due to the numbers we had to enter our Reds as under 8's playing against stronger kids from around the Pompey area. undeterred and full of confidence , belief and enthusiasm they got through to the quarter finals , fantastic effort guys. Old Coaches New Level 1 FA Coaching Qualifications
As part of Pickwick Youth Football clubs comittment to improve football training by making it more fun, varied, challenging and rewarding for our kids, 5 more coaches have completed the FA Level 1 coaching course. Gary,Nick,Steve,Vinny and Dave passed with flying colours and buzzing with new ideas and techniques look out kids !!!

Under 7's take the Everton Tournament by storm

On the 24th May most kids were awoken by the parents at 6.00am for the hour and half trip to Everton (no not the one by Liverpool)to take part in their 2nd tournament this break.
The Reds sporting their new squad tshirts started off the day with a draw and then winning their next 4 games the smiles were there for all to see.
Excellent teamwork,passing and enjoyment had by all, including Zhoura who couldn't stop smiling

Our Blues determined to enjoy the trip battled well with 3 draws including coming back from 2-0 ,the face opposite shows how much fun that was .
